"Yesterday was a history, Tomorrow is a mystery, but, TODAY is a gift, that is why it is called PRESENT" is the way i would like to start.
The way this developing world goes, no job is smaller or bigger except for how you take it. As I am in a position of a tech support today, daily i learn some or the other thing may be related to my work or a language proficiency. The way you interact with people will make you to portray yourself.
The experience of an interview as a student when doing a degree, specially bachelor of engineering (B.E) amidst the heavy pressure of the studies is really a marvell. One on one the companies tend to ask you questions which you feel that you are not aware as you are in the interview hall but when you come out of the hall you suddenly remeber that the answer was so pretty simple....... Bingo my experience was also the same.....
Yes, i too was asked as many simple questions as possible but it was only when i came out of the hall i remembered that the answer was simple. I was out with my B.E. degree in Electrical and Electrical engineering discipline into the so called CORPORATE MARKET. The world seemed to be very difficult for me as i didnot posses a job. But i too was a determined guy who completed a BE degree.
I set-out in the hunt of the job which could help me with my skills in communication.
I entered a campus called MphasiS which had a board reading MphasiS- An HP company. It is a learning academy. U get to learn specially when u r a fresher. I was made to undergo different rounds like the voice and accent, techical process, operations. First round was a easy one, an HR person entered the hall and interviewed me....... She was sharp and intelligent and sounded great asset to the company........ she informed me that i moved to the next round which was a telephonic interview........We were exposed to the american dialect and the language which really focussed on our listening and language skills. Next were the results to be announced for the telephonic round. Tensed heavily, i was just waiting for the result as i had tried with all my might to clear it, The same HR person came with a Smile on face and informed that i had to undergo another voice and accent test but i was on par with the cut-off.
huh.... another trainer came in with a short stature, He said just relax man as he saw my tensed body language. He asked me a few questions as to test my language and found it better....... he said u will be the only one to clear it and move on to the operations manager round....... i had to wait till then evening as the process i was going to be hired was a US based and people were working for the night shifts...... manager finally came in at 6:30 pm IST and took an interview and there it was!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally i came to know i was selected and I GOT THE OFFER LETTER.......... I have become a better learner now and hope could continue the same zeal to learn even after 6 months of my service to MphasiS.......... Thank You MphasiS for providing me the job..........
